Dress Code

On the Course

Well cut trousers, tailored shorts and skirts are acceptable: blue denim jeans, football or rugby shirts and shorts are not acceptable. Tailored sports shirts are acceptable: collarless t-shirts are not.

In the Clubhouse

Dress in any of the public areas may be informal but must be smart clean casual wear. Caps are not permitted to be worn in the clubhouse. Spikeless golf shoes are permitted in the Spike Bar areas.

In the Dining room the general rules for the public areas apply.

The Club Manager and the Bar Manager are authorised to draw these standards to the attention of any member or visitor to the club and to require compliance with them.

Handicap Information

Although we do not insist on an official handicap, we do expect visitors to have some golfing ability, maintain a reasonable pace of play, comply with golf etiquette and the Rules of Golf. In the interest of the majority, our Course Rangers will invite anyone he sees not showing an exceptable level of behaviour to leave the course.

Mobile Phone Policy

Members, guests and visitors are respectively requested to use their mobile phones discreetly in the clubhouse, placing them in silent mode, taking calls outside the clubhouse and only in an emergency on the golf course.
