The Dormy House
One of Alnmouth Golf Club’s unique features is its in-house accommodation. The Dormy House occupies the first floor of the clubhouse with room for up to 18 guests, whether that be all golfers or golfers and their partners. In fact there is precious little Dormy House accommodation left in England but Alnmouth Golf Club are proud to uphold a uniquely British tradition.

The Club has eight twin-bedded rooms and two single rooms, all furnished and serviced to the highest of standards. Bedrooms are spacious, en-suite with television and tea-making facilities with fine views overlooking the course, rose garden or the Northumberland coastline depending on your room. All rooms are close to a quiet lounge over looking the course and the snooker room.
Tee times are usually arranged, morning and afternoon, to suit mealtimes. Dormy House guests play from the yellow tees (ladies from the red tees). If there is a Club competition, guests are expected to play in the same format as Members to avoid hold-ups on the course. It is possible to hire one of the Club's buggies by prior arrangement.
Guests in the Dormy House are welcome to use the various facilities in the clubhouse and the course during their stay. With two bars, a dining room and spacious television lounge, the clubhouse offers a warm and friendly Northumbrian welcome at the end of a great days golf. If your round has only served to whet your appetite for further challenge then a game of snooker or billiards can provide more sporting competition. In fact we will treat you like our members whilst you are at Alnmouth.

After a good night's sleep and an excellent breakfast, the golfer can step straight onto the tee and at the end of a bracing day's golf he/she can enjoy a good dinner and another night's sleep .. all without using their car. All your meals are served in the Club Dining Room.
You will always be guaranteed a great stay at Alnmouth Golf Club and Foxton Hall also provides the perfect base to enjoy the many delights of the magnificent Northumberland coastline. Guests are welcomed to Alnmouth throughout the season, weekdays and weekends, subject to the course being available. Over the years, it has been appreciated by scores of golfers, many of whom make it their priority to return each year for a golfing break.
A stay in our Dormy House enables you to immerse yourself fully in the history of the golf club and its wonderful surroundings.
The normal "package" is for a 3-course set dinner, bed and full English breakfast, and two rounds of golf. We have various offers during the year, please contact the Secretary's Office for more details. Variations from the set dinner may be negotiated in advance with the Caterer as desired.

Coastal Classic Golf Break
One of our most popular breaks is a two night stay involving three rounds of golf at Alnmouth, Berwick (Goswick) GC and Bamburgh Castle GC. These are three unique classic golf courses on the Northumberland coastline. Goswick, a traditional links course, currently a British Open qualifying course, Bamburgh Castle, a fine test of golf often referred to as the most picturesque in England and ourselves, Alnmouth steeped in history and always in superb condition. This break includes Dinner Bed and Breakfast and we arrange all your golf tee times, all for only £225.

Two nights Dinner Bed and Breakfast and three rounds of golf, at either Alnmouth, Foxton or the nearby links of Dunstanburgh Castle GC or Alnmouth Village GC. All tee times booked by ourselves.
3 Day Event Golf Break Two nights £175, Three nights £245
10th to 12th August 2010
Dinner Bed and Breakfast and entry into the Northumberland 3 Day Event 4BBB competition. Golf played at Bellingham GC on the Tuesday, Alnmouth GC on the Wednesday and Rothbury GC on the Thursday. Daily and overall prizes on offer with a Northumbrian evening presentation at Rothbury on the Thursday night.
