Alnmouth Golf Club has a very active membership of more than 750. Our men's and ladies sections offer a full competition fixtures schedule aimed at players of all standards. We also run several friendly events and a varied social calendar.
Members are also able to play at Alnmouth Village, Goswick, Northumberland GC, Brancepeth Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Tyneside, Hexham, Ponteland, Newcastle United, Morpeth, Gosforth, Arcot Hall, City of Newcastle, Blyth, Bedlington, and Tynemouth Golf Club's for a reciprocal green fee ranging from £12 depending on the Club, a great bonus for being a member of Alnmouth.
We have a particularly strong junior section having recently achieved the national English Golf Union Golfmark accreditation in recognition of the work with our junior members. We hold free junior coaching and competition sessions every week of the school holidays. We welcome applications for membership whether by invitation from existing members or if you don’t know anyone at Alnmouth then please write directly to the Secretary. The annual subscriptions for each category are shown below. The annual subscription can be paid by monthly instalments. There is a one off joining fee and payment can be spread over five years if required.
We invite you to play the course before you join and all green fees paid will be deducted from the joining fee. You will be assured of a warm welcome so please don’t hesitate to contact us by telephoning or sending the enquiry form to our email address.

Membership Information
Five Day Membership (Playing Sunday to Thursday)
Alnmouth Golf Club now offer 5 day membership. Play is available from a Sunday to a Thursday, therefore weekend golf is possible as a member of this unique category. In addition the club hold monthly weekday competitions throughout the summer months to ensure that members can maintain a CONGU handicap. The subscription can be paid by monthly instalments and the joining fee by five annual payments.

Pay and Play Membership
Ideal for the casual golfer who does not play regular golf, Pay and Play membership allows the golfer to play 15 rounds of golf per year. The subscription for this category is £250 with no joining fee. The benefits are as follows;
Playing Times - Sunday through to Thursday, after 3pm Friday and after 4pm on a Saturday.
May introduce guests at the appropriate members guest green fee rate.
May obtain a handicap and play in the Clubs midweek competitions.
Can obtain a Bar Levy Card and therefore the relevant food and drink discounts.
Full use of the Clubs practice facilities.
Hire buggies at the discounted members rate, £10.
After two years membership transfer to Full Playing membership without the payment of a joining fee.

Under Age 30 Membership
Alnmouth Golf Club are keen to encourage younger members and have introduced a new category of membership aimed at golfers aged 26 - 29.
Interested parties are advised that there is NO JOINING FEE attached to this category and monthly payment options are available through the Clubs own interest free monthly payment scheme, for further details contact the Secretary.

Intermediate/Student (aged 18 - 25)
Alnmouth is keen to encourage it's younger members and offers a competitive rate for joining the club to those aged between 18 and 25. This rate applies whether you have been a junior member of the club or not. Payment plans are available for the subscription. There is no joining fee attached to this category.

English Golf Union Golfmark award holders. Alnmouth has a very active junior section and we are always keen to encourage new young members. The annual fees include full playing rights, competitions and the opportunity to join regular coaching programmes organised during the school holidays.
